Well done Daniel Bennie, after last week's problems, came on and turned this game with a cracking goal, and Kone sealed it well after missing a couple of sitters.

He came on and did what people say Kolli does (and I dont feel he does) and thats be positive and always show for the ball. Agreed he had a shocker last week, but takes real character to back yourself and take a strike from distance and he really deserved the goal

A brilliant goal, and undoubtedly the game winner. And this is why you give young players meaningful game time; so they have the self assurance to come on and try that sort of thing.

I thought Kolli worked his socks off and played well.
AND WHEN I DREAM , I DREAM ABOUT YOU AND WHEN I SCREAM I SCREAM ABOUT YOU!!!!!
Delighted for him, this is what developing a teenager looks like. Sometimes, it will be last weeks performance and sometimes it will be this. But stick with him, support him on the pitch now and lets see what he can do.
I thought that he banged a right-footer in Catalunya in Summer 2024, but I can't find it.
Am I mad(der than usual)?
Mad-sense.
I think he scored several in preseason, Brian. Several demonstrated potential.
Like many, he’s seemingly a better sub than a starter. I just don’t know why we wait so long to bring them on.
Hull seriously screwed their subs up, giving us a better chance to steal it, but Jules could have acted on their subs faster - as he could have done with other games, where there were two-three more points on offer.
We’d be above Wrectum potentially, colon levels I assume.
Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Hopeuflly, Bennie is now also going to be good competition for Kolli, who has some of the makings but is not yet hitting his marks.
Excellent cameo from the lad. Banged one in and should have had an assist for Kone + also nearly sent Vale through 1-1 in that wild last 10.
He may have something, still not entirely sure what, but the more we see of him the more it'll show. These last months of the season are perfect for him to get some good minutes.

I didn't see the whole game, but I have the impression that our last two goals, quality finishes though they were, were as much about Hull's defence and shape parting like the Red Sea, much like ours vs Blackburn. Certainly, their manager seems to have thought so, judging by his post-match steam-letting.
For those who were there or watching on the web, how much was the result a matter of our quality and how much down to Hull's surprising deficiencies on the day?

Hull had a very distinctive playing style and we set up well to both frustrate them and try to create chances ourselves.

Yeah when we lose it’s because we’re dreadful and when we win 3-1 away at a top six team it’s because the opponent is dreadful. One thing is for sure; the team and manager never deserve any credit. Only complaints, derision and mockery.
