| What can we learn from Millwall? 10:52 - Feb 23 with 1502 views | Snipper | Seeing that Millwall are third in the Championship, and are not too far away from the top two, what can we learn from the way they’re doing things? Is their recruitment better than ours? Is their style of play better than ours? Is their management structure better than ours? Which begs the question, what can we do differently? | | | | |

| What can we learn from Millwall? on 12:04 - Feb 23 with 1337 views | nix | They did manage to sell youth product Romain Esse two seasons ago for £13 million and they re-invested that with a load of youngish players with potential, including Tangangs on a free who they managed to sell for £8 million last season which they re-invested in a lot of younger players with potential. It’s what we’re trying to do but we’re a couple of seasons behind them (if it comes off obviously). They have been very canny in the transfer market admittedly. | | | |

And, when they've finished with the canny, they throw it at away fans.

| What can we learn from Millwall? on 13:42 - Feb 23 with 1233 views | hoops_legend | A few less implosions and more luck with injuries and we could have been in the play-offs so I don't think we have much more to do to get to their level to be fair... Premiership would still be a bridge too far but we have recruited well, have a likeable squad overall and think we are having a decent season... Just we are susceptible to throwing away winnable games... | |

| What can we learn from Millwall? on 15:06 - Feb 23 with 966 views | numptydumpty | They have not been promoted as yet, and have not managed to stay in the Premier League for a few years yet, either. More's the question what can we learn from Palace, Fulham, Brentford, Bournemouth and Brighton would be more of a relevant question. Millwall at a similar stage to ourselves and a few results going the right way for ourselves, where we have been turned over at the end, we are at pretty much an identical stage of evolution as the club of Millwall. Also, they lost three one at home at the weekend. They obviously have tried to emulate ourselves as well, then.... [Post edited 23 Feb 15:10]

Sorry to be a bit of a pedant, but misuse of reflexives is like nails down a blackboard to me - 'us' is good in both cases where you've used 'ourselves'. https://learnenglish.britishco
