Leeds Reflection 14:52 - Mar 15 with 10530 views | bluenwhite10 | A great game today and I honestly felt Rangers did well against good side and even more so when you consider how many players where out injured. Yes Leeds did have lots of possession but I can’t really remember Nardi making many and if any saves. I think the move if Edwards into midfield was the right move today and I can see that remaining until Varanne gets back. The timing of the Leeds 1st goal was a killer and looking bqck it was rightly given. Was pleased with the draw as I could only see one winner and would have took that before the game. Saito Red card was harsh and someone might need to explain to me how it was worse than the one on Smyth by Struijk, but the official where poor all day. MOM tough one to callas some very good battling displays but Dunne I guess. Come on you R’s

Leeds Reflection on 15:11 - Mar 15 by stainrods_elbow | Disagree on all points. A 'great' game - really? It was a typical, stop-start, low-quality Champ encounter for me, with the top team showing they're not that good. The Leeds player for their goal was clearly interfering, assuming he didn't touch the ball, which he may have. Cook was right to appeal as vociferously as he did. The Saito challenge was a nasty, pre-meditated, targeted kung-fu chop. Didn't seem that dismayed when he saw the card was red. Marti should have seen him into the dressing room with a flea in his ear not an arm round his shoulder. Says a lot for me. We didn't play very well, two decent goals apart, but, as I say, Leeds weren't good enough to follow through once we'd let them back in. A draw just about summed up an otherwise underwhelming game, but I guess it's an improvement on recent showings, and I'm sure Cifuentes wil be emphasising the positives. [Post edited 15 Mar 15:12]

Leeds Reflection on 18:07 - Mar 15 by Wilkinswatercarrier | Considering the injuries a descent result, but still a poor game to watch. And yes, I was there, as always. Lots of huffing and puffing, but very little quality. No one able to put there foot on the ball and actually play a quality pass. Just very 'meh'. And the gap to the bottom 3 is now 7 points. |

Leeds Reflection on 17:49 - Mar 15 by wortonr | Thought it was a terrific game! Seems like some on here just live to be miserable..so I Spose the Rangers are an obvious choice ! One example ..I thought Frey was fantastic. Gave everything for the shirt out there. Well done my team. |
Frey does give everything and his work rate/attitude is excellent. Technically, he is sadly lacking at this level. Saito’s challenge was a tired looking lunge that caught the player right on his calf and looked worse than it probably was. Not malicious, but left the ref no choice. Great effort today considering our injury list. Looked more up for it than the Middlesbrough game at least. International break could not have come at a better time as we need some respite after a really tough month.
Leeds Reflection on 10:26 - Mar 16 with 1843 views | baz_qpr | Agree with most on this thread a really good disciplined effort and probably a lot you could not see if you were watching on the video. At the time I thought the goal was offside (as did the ref!) but having watched it back the linesman got it spot on. Same for the Saito sending off, he was diving to get the trip and take the yellow but his foot bounced of the turf so studs up on the back of the calf so its sadly a red, and I hope Paal has apologised for putting him that situation with his ridiculous free kick. Edwards I think MOTM, really good games from Smyth, Saito, Dunne, Frey and Anderson Other results have put has back in the relegation fight, but the worst fixtures are out of the way now bar Burnley.

That's how I saw he Saito challenge. Not malicious but it's studs out halfway at calf level from behind, most refs are going to give that as a red

Brilliant Red Card for the team, 90th minute, Dan James who is lightening quick had an almost clear run on Nardi, 2-3 would have been a disaster, Saito did what Gary O'Neil did in the Play Off Final & took one for the team, good lad.

He looks comfortably the best option without Field/Varane fit to play CDM, which says a hell of a lot about his ability - to slot in at centre mid against the best team in the league without really looking out of place. If only we could keep him. Really hoping Rohl’s Saints go and buy some German gegenpress nutters and they have no need for him come Jan’26. Met Varane outside the paddocks yesterday. Said he was feeling good and gave the impression it isn’t anything too serious. Nice lad.

Yep. Saito did what he had to but the red was harsh, should have been a yellow. Paal owes him. Again.

No he didn't, no it wouldn't, and your cynicism (more 'taking one for the team' guff, even though he'll now be out for 3 important games at a time we've also lost Chair for Lord knows how long) is as tedious as it is short-sighted. I'm a big Saito fan, but that was stupid and malicious. Still, if it offers the usual suspects yet more twisted ammo somehow to scapegoat Paal for somone else's red card, I'm sure all's well in their little world.

TBF stainrod, if Paals free kick had been a better delivery Saito wouldn’t have had to make that tackle.

Leeds Reflection on 16:03 - Mar 16 with 1217 views | slmrstid | I thought it was a good, entertaining game yesterday and we certainly deserved a point. This Leeds team is clearly stronger than last years, and probably a bit mentally stronger as well, so a good point overall, stops the rot a bit after some disappointing results and performances in recent weeks. The one criticism that could probably be said is we were careless in possession quite frequently, which did put us under pressure against a side like Leeds. As Mr Warburton always used to say, "you have to take care of the football"!

Never mind hitting the first man at corner’s repeatedly, Paal’s awful attempt to even hit the Box when everyone was pushed forward trying to get the winner left us seriously exposed & Saito realising took one for the team..He would probably of rather tripped him & taken a yellow but the guy was away so did what he had to do..True team player.
Leeds Reflection on 19:04 - Mar 16 with 869 views | derbyhoop | It's obviously a game of opinions. London World's player markings were 9 for Cook and only 4 for Paal. I thought Cook was better than his last few games but there were a couple of Barbet diags into the crowd. So no more than a 6 for me. Paal was faced with probably, the fastest player in the League, who he kept quiet for most of the game..Plus 2 covering clearances after they got down Jimmy's side. OK the FK, at the death, was dire but otherwise decent. As to the Sauto red, I thought it was an obvious yellow but the ref's report may say different. Will we appeal? Depends.

Your definition is correct but I think it's "their" here. Foot belongs to the person, sentence is talking about the action of what they are doing with their foot (not trying to bring "they're" into this!) "No one able to put there foot on the ball and actually play a quality pass."
