Getting Fleeced Down The Bush Match Fred 01:08 - Oct 13 with 22382 viewsFredManRave

Seeing as I'm unbeaten in Match Threads, and especially bearing in mind it was a match thread that I think 80% of supporters who expressed a preference believed we were going to lose, I'm taking ownership of creating the next one, which will be a winning one.

The Rams are coming to town, they've won once all season, and we're long overdue a home win, achievable even if we finish the game with around 8 or 9 players that can still walk.

So lump on for the win, Ram Lambs to the slaughter, what could possibly go wrong?!

R's 2 - 1 Rams

Let’s not mess it up like the last time Derby were at LR leading then man off and we concede to lose. Went out of the ground fuming. Come on rangers let’s beat them this time. Nervy 1-0 win.

We've drawn the last 4, Derby their last 2. Surely that sequence cannot be extended? They've got nearly as many injuries as we have. In defense and without Agyemang (not that one, Dave!). But we've only scored 4 at home so far this season.

Narrow win, 1-0 or 2-1

Having just read the oppo profile , Derby’s strength appears to be in attack , while our defence is very miserly. They seem to be in dire straits at the back with Sanderson the main man! If we can get Poku motoring down the right and Smythy down the left this could be the game that either Kone,Kolli,or Lloyd open their account - ideally all three! 3-1 to the hoops

Yes. I think they must really miss Matt Clarke who’s very solid at the back and their LB situation sounds pretty bad. Let’s hope we can exploit it down that side.

We should be feeling pretty confident after a decent performance against West Ham and still being in the play off positions even after a lot of teams playing today.

The injury situation is pretty bad across a number of clubs including us, Derby and Millwall. I hope clubs are lobbying the EFL to improve the ridiculous scheduling of matches.

Crikey, didn’t realise that. Four forwards, only one has scored, in one game out of nine.

Incidentally, neither of those goals came from wing play, one self taken and one through the middle. There does seem a real disconnect between the front man and wide men.

Should win but can only see another draw.

Our speedy lads should tear them apart. 2-0 the Rangers.

0-0 it is then!

As noted above.... really could've done with Burrell for this one.
Another blank from the forward line tonight will be a concern.

Hoping Kolli flowers in front of goal tonight x

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Hoping for a display similar to the first 65 on Friday. If that’s the case a comfortable 2-0!

Getting fleeced in the Crown & Sceptre at the moment. They don’t take prisoners when it comes to the drinks menu.

Come on Rangers, we need a win. I feel more nervous about this game than West Ham.

Was about to post that this is a game we could do with a fit and firing Kone.... Anyone seen one?

Surprised by Vale over Poku.

Have Alfie and Rayan played together before, be interesting to see how they link up.

I wonder if Kolli will actually play as a 10 in 4231

Could play off the left too, did a lot earlier on for the Devs and Vale is more of a 10

There'sa Koné on the bench. Whether he's 'fit and firing' or not is moot.

Also really surprised no Poku.

They have injuries to all 3 of their left backs.

Unless Smyth playing right, surely we should be trying to rip them apart down that side?

Vale is never going to take someone on down the outside. Indeed, this season he doesn't seem up to doing much.

On a positive, altho' I have been pretty critical of Alfie's contributions, Kolli was v isolated against West Ham; having Lloyd buzzing about near him might create some space for Kolli by drawing away parts of their makeshift defence.

Chaos Alfie and Kolli could be quite good I reckon if they’ve got a shaky defence - one to steam around and one to shoot on sight

Means we have a Poku to bring on when their fullbacks are tired,, may be the plan!

I feel a real warmth for the team this season, and to borrow a JFHism injuries mean It Is What It Is, AND Lloyd and Smyth have many good qualities. But... Neither are reliable goalscorers so let's cross all our extremities we get a penalty, set-piece goal or one that bounces in off someones arse.

Getting Fleeced Down The Bush Match Fred on 19:38 - Oct 14 with 601 viewssmudgehoop

I like the line-up.

agree that the centre forward pairing of Koli and Lloyd isn't really up to championship standard, but it's the best we have given that Burrell is injured and Kone is struggling for fitness and foom,

2-1 to the Rs Koli First scorer
