Even by Championship standards, the division is extreme this year in terms of anyone can beat anyone. For the teams and coaches who find ways to eke out that mythical 'extra 5%', the prize is there for the taking.
We have 4 weeks with pretty much all our injured players coming back to fitness, and only 2 players away, both of whom are likely not to have excessive minutes (maybe none at all in Seny's case). Let's hope we use it well and have a better result than the Warbs team did immediately after the first lockdown.
Exactly the type of game we will win. Even finishing 16th every season we always have a random win against top of the league at home. Seem to remember beating Shef U at home when their goalie jumped and fell over their defender allowing Sylla to tap in for his longest ever goal of 8 yards.

If we have a full squad to call upon then I reckon we are a match for anyone. 4 weeks and a lot of confidence building, we can beat anyone. Anyone in this division can beat anyone so mentality and improving that is key.

Having watched them second half v Blackburn, if that's where they're at, we, and the rest, are stuffed.
They're a good team as you'd expect them to be with their budget but I wouldn't take their win over Blackburn as any sort of yardstick, Blackburn were bloody rubbish on Sunday.
In fact I'd wager good money Blackburn won't even make the play offs. Remember Burnley were losing 2-1 at home to Rotherham until the 90th minute and then only won it with a winner when the news at ten finished.
We have to play them at home some time, next home game in a month is good enough for me. Most of our players will be fit again and we would have had plenty of time to prepare. Not saying we will win, etc, etc but we we have as much chance as they have.

It's just another game. Still loads more twists and turns along the way. Long season ahead. We've got a very good team when all fit and firing on all cylinders. Tbh I'm more looking forward to meeting up with a few of the lads on here.and having a few drinks than the game.. :)

Given the run we have been on and how well Burnley have been doing, I would call it a success if we can get a point. Obviously, I would prefer a win, though.

We were hardly decimated, injury-wise, over these last few games, so to see MB reverting to invoking the walking wounded and the fixture list after the more pleasingly acerbic 'wake up' take on Huddersfield (for which reason, I suspect he's under instruction from the club's media/spin team) was pretty dismal. If he carries on in that vein, I expect him to play his part in dragging us down the table. Let's hope he gets his head out of his arse instead and rejuvenates these fragile players.
