Fan Mobilisation - Nourry Out 23:26 - Nov 9 with 35463 viewsMarkofthegrove

I'll start by saying, this is not my forum usually. But the artist formally known as Twitter has become an echo chamber of monstrous proportion.

Nourry needs to be removed from his post ASAP before he can do any more damage, there is a vandalism of our club happening and it needs to stop immediately.

But how do we do it? I feel like fans and supporters groups have been weak for a long time now. There were some great folk back when we are in administration that were with QPR 1st.

I've heard rumours of some stuff happening, but it needs to be coordinated and it needs to happen ASAP.

I'd honestly be close to being done with QPR if they sack Marti who is the only bloody good thing about this club right now.

Someone needs to bring this together, protests for protests sake do not work. It needs to have purpose, be targeted and ask the right questions and have the right people involved.

Start with flyers printed out with "We want Nourry out" at the next few home games. Won't be long before the chants are echoing round the ground.

THAT'S when the board will start to listen.

I suspect we're about half an hour's more football and two Tom Cannon goals away from it getting vocal.

I've just seen that website get french football news has a link about Vignal.

Now we know that Nourry has previously posted a document claiming to be the editor of that website.

He is dodgy!!!

Another thing to consider, sacking Nourry will be a lot cheaper than sacking Cifuentes I’d imagine.

Go right back to the day we announced him in the job. It says in the release he's "been in football 11 years", but he was 26 at the time. So that's just a straight up lie. We asked the club how old he was and they told us they didn't know (they did subsequently apologise for this). Watch the video they did with him on the offish - it's absolutely cut to ribbons, huge edits in it where they've obviously had to stop, start again, splice in new bits.

It blows my mind to pieces that the club would have the temerity to put that into print on his first day ! What did they think we’d all do , start claiming we have a child genius on our hands ?
Or start questioning ridiculous mistruths like that one ? So arrogant to think we’d all just bow down and not ask questions . If he was working in football when he was 15 , then when did he go to Oxford and study ? Or is that nonsense too?
And as you say Clive, when things start to unravel , it’s nonsense like this that jumps up straight away .

And obviously the reason that the questions at the ‘fans forum’ were pre vetted days before hand .

You are free to ask the questions I will allow you to ask .

Red flags all over the place

He definitely went to Oxford and he definitely showed zero interest in football when he was there. Sauce: trust me bro

It's never too early Clive, but perhaps you should write Marti's farewell & Gregory's welcome pieces first!

Just another dull international break at Rangers. Which club will be beating us behind closed doors this week?

Most fans on here were really happy with the direction of the club in pre-season, the stats-based approach was seen as a transition to a more modern approach in today's game, and we were onboard.

The signings were welcomed, but there were a few rumblings about the lack of English league experience amongst them.

We managed to shift on a lot of players that needed shifting - across the whole of the squad, development etc, and staff too – it all looked really positive, at least to me.

We made a couple of early signings, but the majority had to come late in the window, as we usually do to try and grab a bargain or 2.

At that point, I was happy, and I thin most of us were pretty happy?

Then the actual football started, and it all went south.

No cohesion, no discernible style, no flow to our game... and no goals.

I was waiting for November (© Wycleff) for the team to settle and start gelling, but it hasn't materialised yet. I think most fans would be more forgiving if we were playing better and just not getting the rub of the green, but aside from a couple of flurries that required the ghost of Gordon Banks to turn up in the opposition goal, its all been really poor.

We've gambled on Nourry and it hasn't' paid off.

In Marti I trust, but even he has to shoulder some of this - we've not looked capable at all. Yes, there are injuries - a lot of injuries to key players, but there have been some head scratching decisions too, at least from my limited understanding of footballing strategy.

I don't know if Nourry should go or not, I understand that we are bottom of the league and its precarious to say the least, but his approach seems to mirror that of many other clubs who have had success, but we're QPR and, well, of course.

I don't want Marti to go, I know that.

The owners?

Who would have us, and what would their motive be?... look at Reading ffs.

Look at Reading ffs. Or, look at Wrexham, Brentford, Brighton it goes on and on.

Death by a thousand cuts under this lot else.

This thread is more insane than I thought possible.

Some bloke was at a company that did a few tweets on football with his mates from university for a few years and has watched Moneyball and played Championship Manager for a bit and somehow he convince the owners to make him CEO and director of football. Am I reading that right?

To be fair, he did start a football website and report on football when he was a teenager, there are even podcasts floating around with him talking about it from 11/12 years ago. So zero interest wouldn't be right.

But, that makes him a journalist, not someone working in football. So thats an outright lie.

There needs to be some quite vocal messaging at the Stoke home game.

We need to get a message to the club.

Back Marti
Sack Nourry.

He was talking about management though, not a DoF/CEO role.

Id have him back at the club (as DoF), but i know not all fans would.

Or in the unlikely event of a home win against Stoke this online furore dissipates.
Results on the pitch will dictate where this ends up.

They should be mutually exclusive. Only the incredibly and stupidly short term focused would disagree.

I can’t get my head round how our board who are such successful people in other businesses feel that a young kid on work experience was the best person to be our CEO and to run the club. The sooner Nourry gets sacked by the board the better. This experiment with the apprentice has been an unmitigated disaster. We need to get him out before he makes anymore catastrophic decisions. We need Reuben and Amit to do the right thing.

Not saying that’s not true but if he is Doing stuff like this it pretty much confirms he is trying to get rid of the coaching team , it’s been pretty obvious in recent weeks that marti seems to be pushing back in the few press conferences he’s being allowed to speak at . And if proven he is involved the owners should have enough to say ur. Breaking the terms of your contract please vacate the building Immed do notpass go do not collect £200 pounds .

I think the answer lies partly in the fact that our owners are man childs (man children…what’s the right collective noun for a group of man childs?) themselves to an extent, certainly not successful businessmen. All they have “done” is inherited wealth rather than created it.
